Mrs. Ruby Pearce was born in Union Parish on August 1, 1883. Mrs Pearce received a Bachelors of Industry from Tech in 1903 and a Bachelor of Science in 1925. Mrs. Pearce was appointed registrar in 1928 and served that position until 1947.
