Thomas Assembly Center Use Policy 
Off-Campus (Non-Profit) Use


These fees apply regardless of whether Food Service is requested

Off-Campus (Non-Profit)

Profit organizations are defined as corporations, small businesses, or any private enterprise whose regular activities are for personal or corporate gain.

Fee Schedule:

  • Hall of Fame Room  - $19 per hour with a maximum of $67.50 per day

  • Waggonner Room -  $25 per hour with a maximum of $90 per day

  • Arena - $250 per hour with a maximum of $900 per day

  • Conference Rooms - $10 per hour with a maximum of $22.50 per day

  • Concourse - $53 per hour with a maximum of $187.50 per day


Other Policies:

  • Rental for meeting rooms (Hall of Fame, Waggonner Room, Conference Rooms) will cover normal set-up of rooms with tables, chairs, and staging if necessary; use of the room; clean-up of area; and audio-visual equipment (PA, podium, video screen, and overhead projector) if available. 

  • Rental of Assembly Center Arena and Concourse will cover normal set-up of
    arena and concourse with tables, chairs, and staging if necessary.  Rental will not include clean-up of these areas. Clean-up will be performed by non-university contracted labor. Contracted price for clean-up will be charged to renter.

  • All other charges which could include staffing of Assembly Center for event, food service, custodial overtime, lighting & sound technician, University Police, and damage will be charged in addition to the above schedule.  Normal operation hours for Thomas Assembly Center are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Monday - Friday.

  • Any group canceling any event less than five days prior to the function shall be
    charged ½ the normal room rental.

  • All Louisiana Tech University insurance requirements for persons or organizations using university facilities will apply to this policy.
