DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS (COLLEGE OF BUSINESS)
Louisiana Tech University

RANK: Director of Marketing and Communications

The Position: The College of Business at Louisiana Tech University seeks applications for the position of Director of Marketing and Communications. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Business, the Director of Marketing and Communication will develop and coordinate the overall marketing and communication efforts of the College of Business. The Director will collaborate with the Director of External Relations and the Dean to establish marketing strategies and develop campaign concepts and assist with the design. He/she will compose all marketing and public relations communications, including press releases, coverage of events and activities, external publications and recruiting materials, and assist he Director of External Relations with events—internal and external to the College. The Director will also serve as marketing and communications director for the Academy of Marketing Science which is associated with the College of Business.

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires at least a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field. The successful candidate will have progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with databases.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.

LOCATION: Medium-sized university (approximately 11,280 students) in pleasant community offering excellent family living conditions. Good schools and medical facilities. Located on Interstate 20, thirty miles west of Monroe and sixty-five miles east of Shreveport .
