ATHLETICS

Louisiana Tech Athletics is seeking candidates for the position of Executive Assistant to Athletics Director/Head Football Coach. Full-time, 12-month position with benefits, some nights and weekends required. Bachelor’s degree recommended or equivalent experience in a related field. Candidate must have professional appearance, excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Must be able to learn and become proficient in Mobileone and Quickbooks programs. Candidate must be able to interface with high level officials and professionals, general public, student-athletes and numerous departmental and University staff. Candidate is also responsible for Athletics Director/Head Football Coach’s calendar, travel schedule, meetings; departmental budget reconciliation; NCAA forms and reports; maintaining office equipment, technical support service and other routine office procedures. Position requires considerable initiative, independence and conflict resolution in a fast paced work environment.
